This was stated by Swami Narayan Sayeeji at his day-long sermon delivered before about 40,000 to 50,000 devotees at saint Shri Asa Ram Bapuji's ashram at Bhagwati Nagar today. In his enlightening, thought provoking and breath takingly impressive parvachan, Swami ji cautioned the people against excessive indulgence in the worldly affairs and materialistic kingdom which has changed entire human race in a living machine. Referring to the sermons of Lord Krishna to Arjun, Swami ji reiterated that the human beings have to make actions without expectations of the results. He said that our good or bad actions or karmas decide our destiny. Swami Narayan Sayee ji while speaking on the theory of Jaap (repeated remembrance of Almighty) said that it is much easier to renounce desire than to fulfill them. He said that we have to depend on people and circumstances to fulfill our desires because after fulfillment of some desires, new desires crop up which become the source of disappointment and trouble for the human beings. While commenting on the immediate action of Mantras, Swami ji said that chanting of a Mantra is strictly a scientific process involving regulation if electro magnetic, spiritual and sound waves in a particular way cutting in nothing sensations. He said that Guru sewa is the greatest of all virtues for which our country is known the world over. Through Guru sewa, a disciple achieves perfect peace of mind, which is reflected through his external actions which brings peace, tranquility and solace in the society. Swami ji in his sermon said that one should not ask the God for worldly things but the biggest demand should be salvation. He said that all the religions of the world teach lesson of brotherhood, peace, harmony and mutual co-existence. The turmoils, terrorism, agonies, pains and nightmares are happening in the world because most of us do not act upon the messages of our respective religions. The world will become heaven if all of us trek on the path shown by our religious teachers. He said that the complete solution of eradicating terrorism from society lies in practicing our respective religions in letter and spirit. Swami ji asked the people to devote some time daily in remembering His name, doing Jap, reading religious scriptures and helping the poor and needy. Swami ji said that every year Spiritual Shivars would be held on Baisakhi in Jammu in which devotees would be given lectures and demonstrations in Dhian Yoga.
