I regret to inform you all that two one priest and his wife from Nashville

temple in Tennesse and another priest from Huntsville temple in Alabama suddenly

ended their lives on the earth and reached Parapadam. Suryanarayana Sarma and

his wife Anasuyamma from Nashvilleand Chakrapani Devaraja Bhattar from

Huntsville died instantly in a car crash near Huntsville on 12th of this month.

Another priest Raghavendra was seriously hurt in the accident but he was

released from the hospital. Sarma's had one son Girish who turned nine only

recently. It seems that he is very intelligent and can chant almost all sloka's

fluently. It seems that when he heard the death of her parents he started

chanting

Hanuman Chalisa.

 

Sarma's came to Nashville little over two years ago and Chakrapani came to this

country only six months ago. Since we knew Mr.Sarma for quite some we drove

from Birmingham to Nashville to attend Sarma Couple funeral to day. It was

attended by all the community members and from people from nearby areas.

Raghavendra who survived the accident and released from the hospital in

Huntsville only yesterday but when he found out about the funeral for late

Sarma's he reached Nasheville when some body drove him.

 

It was solemn moment for the hall when he paid his respects to Mr and Mrs,Sarma

with tears. He is the only one who can shed some light about the accident. We

all chanted Sri Vishnusahasranamam before the ceremony.No words can explain how

we all felt after watching the final rites for the couple performed by young

Girish. He controlled his feeling and emotions and did the final rites for his

parents wiping his eyes. There is not a single dry eye in the audience.

 

Hindu temple of Nashville started fund in young Girish's name and already

pledges of support are pouring it seems. The temple is organizing a fund rising

tomorrow in the temple.It is every Hindu's moral responsibility to support young

Girish for his future through this fund. Please contact Hindu temple in

Nashville.

 

The late Chakrapani came to Huntsville as Vaishna priest and all I know that

they are taking his body to India. He left behind his wife and children.I do not

know for sure how many children he had.

 

Please join me in praying for the souls of late Sarma, his wife Anasuyamma and

Chakrapani and for the welfare of people they left behind.

 

Let us all pray that young Girish for his bright future. May God bless him now

and for ever. I am sorry that I have to break this news to readers.
