Jai Sreemannarayana.

 

When our Pujya Swamiji retuned to India after a successful visit to U.S.A in

2004, he gave a good gift for "Bhagavad Bhandhu's" which is nothing but leaving

three talented and knowledgeable decieples of his team in U.S.A. They are

i) Sreeman Shantaram garu,

ii)Sreeman Yughandhar garu and

iii) Kumari Sarada Garu.

 

They were stationed in different parts of the country. But thanks to the modern

technology one can reach them through telebridege. They have done wonderful job

to the interested devotees for now more than one year. Everyday they have

different program through the telebridge and the classes locally or in the area

where ever they staying. The program schedule includes every as follows.

 

5.30 A.M to 6.15 A.M

Pratahsmaraneeyam. (TELUGU)

In this program conducted by Shantaram garu and Yugandhar garu taught the

devotees the meaning and proper chanting of the following from the popular book

Sri Pathistutimala of Jeeyar Educational trust.

 

1. Guruparampara

2. Haryashtakam

3. Krishanashtakam

4. Panchayudha Stotram

5. Gajendra Moksham

6. Slokatrayam

7. Paratvadi Panchakam

8. Paramartha Slokadvayam

9. SaraNagagathi.

 

In addition to the above every day morning the chanting include one of the

following.

 

1. Most popular "Mukundamala"

2. Hayagriva Stotram( Thursdays)

3. Githa Jyothi

4. Sankheparamayanam

5. Adityahrudayam(Sundays)

6. Kantachatusloki

7. Ashtasloki

8. Sri Venkatesasuprabhatam

9. Sri Venkatesa Stotram

10. Bhagavad Gita (CH.12)

11. Mauktikamulu

12. Sudarsana Ashtakam and others.

 

Those who participated regularly in the above program are thankful to Shantaram

Garu and Yugandhar Garu for the patience they have shown in helping them to

chant properly. They also provided the meaning for each and every one. They

deserves our wholehearted gratitude for the good job they are doing. My self and

my wife Saraswati were attending these morning prayers regularly and we are

really enjoying them.

 

We are in the process of producing a book in which most of the above stotra's

will be given in a bigger font size and on a full size paper, so that it is easy

to read without straining eyes. It is almost ready and waiting for the proof

reading. It will be produced at no cost to JET but all the proceedings will

directly go to Swamiji'.

 

8.00 A.M to 9.00 A.M (CST):

Sundarakanda.

This is mainly done by Shantaram Ji and I have seen in a posting that they have

completed 8 times so far and currently doing it 9th time. This time is quite

good for housewives and those who will be home at that time. Shantaram garu is

doing a wonderful job in explaining the beauty and the philosophy behind the

popular kanda in 'Valmiki Ramayanam'. He will read the sloka's in the kanda and

explain them.

 

7.30 P.M to 8.00 P.M(CST):

Class for learning Sloka's. (TELUGU)

This class is conducted by Yugandhar Ji and Shantaram Ji.

 

In this class various important sloka's were taught. They include Mukundamala,

Sankheparamayanam, Bhagavad Gita(Ch.12) to mention few. Presently they are

ALavandaar's "Stotraratnam". In this class the meanings and the depth of each

sloka is given.

 

 

8.00 P.M to 9.00 P.M:

Most Popular "Valmiki Ramayan" in English.

 

As you all know that Swamiji is doing 'Valmiki Ramayana Parayan" as part of "

Acharya Seva Yatra touring all over Nepal and India. Currently Swamijiis

observing " Chaturmasa Diksha" and continuing this in "Ramanagaram" near

Hydrabad's new International airport. Thanks to telephone technologyand

Telebridge feature the Bhakta's in North America are also fortunate to hear

Swamiji's Pravachanam's if they can sacrifice little bit sleep.

 

In the same lines 'Ramayan Parayan' is done here also. This is mainly done by

Shantaram ji. First Shanatam Ji will give the introduction, Yugandhar jiwill

chant the sloka's with his sweet melodius voice (in high speed) and either

Shantaram Ji or some times Kumari Sarada garu will give the explanation.The

timings are ideal for most of the people to attend this. Right now Yuddhakanda

is going on. The people in north America are really fortunate tohave Ramayan

parayan in their own every day. Recently when Yugandhar Garu and Kumari Sarada

garu were visiting, Shantaram Ji all the programs by himself. He really deserves

our special appreciation for doing this on his own.

 

10.00 P.M to 10.30 P.M

Ramayanam in Telugu.

 

This is done by mainly Sarada Garu and in her absence Shantaram Garu conducted

this. I do not know much about this myself but my wife attends this and she

really likes this.

ONCE AGAIN WE ARE GRATEFUL TO OUR SWAMIJI WHO PROVIDED THIS OPPORTUNITY FOR US

IN A LAND OTHER THAN OUR BIRTH PLACE.
