Guest guest
Asmad GurubhyoNamaha My Humble Pranams to Sri. Acharya Swamiji. I have question regarding Telugu Tidhis and Nakshatras. If we want to celebrate birthdays according to telugu calendar, should we consider celebrating according to Nakshatra in that month or Tidhi of that month. If we are supposed to celebrate according to Nakshatram, then what is the significance of Tidhi and vice versa. Please Kindly take little time and clear my doubt. Thankyou. Guest guest
Jai Srimannarayana Kranthiji! Mangalasasanams! HAPPY DHANUR MASAM TO YOU ALL. Thiddhi is considered important to perform 'apara karmas' ie abdikams etc. Where as to celebrate birthdays etc., it is the nakshatram plays a major role. According to nakshatram only all the 'ja:thakas' etc., are to be calculated. Performing birthday according to thiddhi is not good. Now a days, everybody is taking date for easy going, which also is not good. =chinnajeeyar= Wed, 07 Dec 2005 23:00:59 +0000 KRANTHI TIRUMALA Doubt Asmad GurubhyoNamaha My Humble Pranams to Sri.Acharya Swamiji.
