(ththingal) This is the month of great day ( ma:rgali )of moon joining mrugasira star (nanna:la:l) an auspicious day (nirainda) filled (madi) with fullmoonlight .(ppo:duvi:r ) Those of us who want to go ( ni:ra:da ),( to perform the penance of 'sna:na vratham ’ po:domino: )let us go ( (na:ra:yanane:) The Lord who supports living & nonliving object in all the ways, (kumaran) who was the son (nandago:pan) of king Nandago:pala, ( kozhunthozhilan ) who could give a lot of trouble (ku:rve:l)to enemies using his sharp spear; (ilam singam ) who was the little lion cub (e:ra:randa) of the beautiful black (ka nni ) eyed (yaso:dai)Yaso:da devi; (ka:r) who is dark colour of sky (me:ni ); skinned (sem) who has perfect pink lotus like (kann); eyes (mugaththa:n )and who has a face (po:l) like (kadhir) the radiance of sun (madiyam); delight of the moon (tharuva:n) will give (namakke:) to us (parai). his blessings in form of ‘para’an instrument (ppadindu) Let us immerse totally in water ( e:lo:remba:vai )and do the penance of 'dip in divine shower’, (pugazh) a practice praised (pa:ro:r).by the people of the world Summary in short: At first, A:nda:l praises the holy time, Ma:rgazhi is the sacred month. This is a month that develops Sa:ththvik nature in all living beings. This month corresponds to the serene (early hours just before day break) period for the whole year. Good days have come that can yield the best happiness of our life. Whoever wish to take a Divine shower ...O' wealthy little girls, having wealth of rich Love towards Lord Krishna, come on, and proceed ahead! Lord Krishna is highly obedient to his father who is protected by Nandagopa, His father, who bears a fierce sharp spear in his hands to protect his son. Young lad Sri: Krishna, seems like a lion-cub, being brought up by "Yaso:da" who has exquisitely beautiful wide eyes, filled with the Love towards Krishna. He who has dark skin, reddish eyes, who is cool like radiant moon towards His devotees and hot like blazing Sun towards wicked, is Lord Na:ra:yana himself, who will grant us “Parai”, a small drum like instrument (also kainkaryam), so that the whole world praises us.
