With the idea of disseminating noble values and to pass on the cherished spiritual thought to posterity, the management has selected Alipiri to be developed as a hub of enlightenment under its `spiritual outlook' project. A major aspect of the project will be the celestial wedding -- Srinivasa Kalyanam-- which will be explained through thematic images. Significant mythological episodes will find place in the concept. Simiarly, `Srinivasa Charitam,' pertaining to the Lord's appearance on Earth, will be explained through idols. An area earmarked as `Annamayya vanam' will be developed and the saint-poet's perspective of the Lord, as sung in his 32,000 ankeertans, will be explained with the help of idols. Similarly, it has also been proposed to install statues of eternal devotees like Meerabai, Tukaram, Chaitanya and Purandaradasa on either side of Alipiri road in order to spread the message to the devotees. Attractions The various dazzling gold-gilded vahanams used during `Srivari Brahmotsavams' at Tirumala would be depicted in the form of images under the `Srinivasa Sundaram' concept, which is expected to be a feast for the eyes. TTD Trust Board Chairman T.Subbirami Reddy, who visited the site in Alipiri on Saturday, laid a foundation stone for the project and assured to get the project completed soon. He also looked at a prototype of `Srikrishna Leela,' an image proposed to be developed in the spiritual zone.
