Bhattar was asked "Which place is Andal refering to, that the Lord will take rest, when she says 'paLLi koLLum idaththu'in Nachchiyar Thirumozhi 4-1?" Bhattar replied "The place that the Lord of Thirumalirunjsolai takes rest at is Kovil - that is, Srirangam". It is Bhattar's thought that the Lords of all divyadesams come to rest at Srirangam when their doors are closed each night.
