Guest guest
Sri Raghunandana ParabrahmaNe: namaha! Srimathe: Ramanujayanamaha!! Viswa:mithra continues, “You may not believe my words. You may feel I am saying so to fulfill my personal gain. Your family priest Vasishta was my opponent earlier. He is the one who practices what he preaches. I became a brahmarshi solely because of his words. Such sage Vasishta is aware of the fact that Rama is the mahathma. All these ascetics are very impartial. Your son would kill the rakshasas that are hindering my yajna and help in its completion. If you aspire to acquire the benefits of dharma or desire to earn fame, then it is right on your part to send your son with me.” He tells so in three or four slokas --- ra:mam me: da:thu marhasi. “You consult all the ministers and Vasishta and other purohiths and only after they give their assent, it is fair to give me your Rama. You just ask them and see... After getting their consent you send your son with me. You love your son so dearly that your heart declines to part with him. But it is time you control your emotions and send him with me without any more delay. The yajna lasts for ten nights. You give Rama to be with me for this period. It is desirable to send him before the time lapses for the yajna. Don’t grieve that I am seeking your son.” On hearing the meaningful righteous words of great sage Viswamithra, Dasaratha was panicked and was overtaken by deep agony and drowned in sorrow. The sage’s words pierced his mind and heart. He was deeply shaken. He dropped down unconscious in his seat. To be contd… Jai Srimannarayana! Mudumbai Ramanujamma rd.
