Everyone is talking about the new millineum but the truth is we are actually 100 years into the new millineum, according to the Vedic calender. We are currently in the Kali Era (yuga) and it is the year 5100 K.E. According to the scriptures, Kali Yuga began in late Feb., 5100 years ago, when Lord Krishna left the planet. As far as Millenial madness, I think the past century has been pretty freaky, from WW1, WW2, Hiroshima, Rwanda etc. But from what I hear, Mother nature has got to clean house before the Golden Age becomes a global experiance. So what year is it now? 1998 A.D.=5100 K.E. Anyone know what year it is in other calenders?
