Dear list members,

On wednesday,I was sitting and talking to my friends,(in Novi

Sad-Yugoslavia),and suddenly

we heard the terrible detonations.The window glasses broke up,and we heard the

air raid serenes

We left the apartments,and women with small children and babies ran on the

streets,and started screaming and crying.It was horrible.Novi Sad is the most

developed town in Serbia(at the north

of Yugoslavia)being hundreds od years under the rule of Austrian and Hungarian

monrachy.The missiles exploded in the town,causing civilian damage(The note for

nato's "peace" mission)I personally,and my fellow serbs were against the killing

Albanians in Kosovo.But remember,my parents were paying every month for the last

20 years for development of Kosovo.Now,the streets are empty,in dark and we are

sitting in shelters,and cellars.Today I was meditating in the cellar,and we went

to church to pray to God to stop this madness.What Bill is saying about

Mr.Milosevic is untrue.In Novi sad,and the whole region,Mr.Milosevic has always

lost the elections.But now,people in Yugoslavia feel that everybody should

defend their homes.Anyway,it is sad.We are entering the 21.century,with bombs

above our heads.Personally,I am not affraid,but my sister is ill,and she with

two eleven years old daughter(one is suffering from bronchiates) are sleeping in

the cellar.I am saying this,only to note that this might happen to every

nation.This is the Europe,and Serbia is from 12.century in Europe.After this

maddness,no nation is safe for no longer.So,I am appealing to all,PRAY TO GOD

FOR PEACE.HIS MERCY IS THE ONLY SAVING FACTOR. I hope I will be able to contact

you from time to time,since my computer is mostly off,and

I grab a little time between two air raids to send a few words.Apsurd,isn't it?

I sincerely hope that none of you will ever see and experience,what I have seen

and experienced

these days.(in spite of knowing that it was going to be this way) For your
