Guest guest
Mathura Vrindavan Official Web Site (Courtesy of the Vaishnava News Network) http://mathura-vrindavan.com -- BY SWAMI B.A. PARAMADVAITI INDIA, Apr 8 (VNN) — After many conversations between government and religious leaders, the district magistrate of Mathura ordered a Web Site to be prepared. Now it is up on the web with beautiful Photographs and many helpful hints. We hope that this website will help to raise world attention to Mathura and Vrindavana. We also hope that it will help to bring Vrindavana, or at least some historical monuments in Vrindavan on the world heritage list of Unesco. We also hope that all the projects such as cleaning Mathura- Vrindavana, ecological concerns and other improvements will receive more support from Government and NGO's. A warm hearted thanks to all who brought this website to existence. http://mathura-vrindavan.com/ Swami B.A. Paramadvaiti =============================================================================== Though unknown to most westerners, Mathura and Vrindavan are two of the most important and sacred cities in the world. Vrindavan, alone, has over 10,000 temples within its boundries, some dating back thousands of years. A solid one 6th of the world's population consider these two cities to be of great historical and religious importance. Its sigificance to those interested in Vedic culture and history can not be overstated. This new website is therefore very appreciated and usefull for research and is also very interesting. Please check it out.
