About a month ago I began studying Vedic astrology, then realized that knowledge of Vedic culture would be a prerequisite. So far I know almost nothing about it. One thing that I wanted to ask was about Vedic/Indian/Hindu (not sure what term to use) holidays and/or regular festivals. Are they all based on a celebration of a God or Goddess? Are there any holidays/festivals during the spring that are of a religious nature? I look forward to learning about Vedic culture.
