Guest guest
Dear friend, > Nostradamus Prophecy of 1999 > L'an mil neuf cent nonante neuf sept mois Du ciel viendra un > grand Roy d'effrayeur Ressusciter le grand Roy d'Angoulmois > Avant apres Mars regner par bonheur.... > or in english: The year 1999 and seven months From the sky > shall come the great king of terror, The great Mongolian King > of old shall resurrect, Before and after Mars (wars) shall > reign at will.... -Nostradamus > > DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ASTROLOGICAL INSIGHT INTO THIS PROPHECY? > Some are saying it refers to July 1999, but others are saying > it refers to Sept 1999. The original french uses the word > "sept" which means 7th, and Sept. was the 7th month until > Julius and Augustus had months named after them. > In another prophecy, nostradamus refers to a solar eclipse > near the end of the millenium coinciding with terror from the > sky. The last solar eclipse of the century,(I think) is on > August 11,1999. > Does Vedic astrology show anything to verify this prophecy of > Nostradmus? Can the use of the word Mars, mean the planet > itself or does it mean "War" as most translations present it? > also what is the astrological import of this particular > eclipse? Thank you As is usual with Nostradamus prophecies - or any prophecies for that matter - one can interpret it in different ways, just as one can bake totally different cookies starting from the same all-purpose flour. Creativity is the key. What is special about this particular eclipse? Well, an exact Mars-Saturn opposition occurs very close to this eclipse. This can bring sudden and chaotic conflicts and destruction in the coming lunar month. This eclipse can trigger a dangerous war. In the case of Russia, ascendant in the lunar month chart has Mars within 2 degrees and luminaries are afflicted by Rahu in 10th. A turbulent Russia and a Yeltsin in big trouble are indicated. Europe may see some big (and bad) changes too. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha ------ This is an information resource and discussion group for people interested in the World's Ancient Vedic Culture, with a focus on its historical, archeological and scientific aspects.
