Guest guest
I've added one part so its 2 of 5 instead of 2 of 4. Modern Economics: Little More Than Theories & Ideology Today’s economic system is surprisingly arbitrary for a society supposedly dedicated to operating upon the rigors of scientific method. The economic and political "science" of the modern world is at best "controversial theories." They too often fail to produce a pre-designated outcome as any real science can. Worse, there is no one set of rules to follow or by which to measure progress. For example, something as obvious as good paying jobs - great by America’s everyday working folks - is viewed with alarm by Wall Street. The Federal Reserve promptly raises interest rates with the prospect of full employment. These kinds of differing opinions leave a hodgepodge of ideas rather than a science. As such, this modern economic system fails to perform even the basic functions of a science, like the ability to safe-guard against or at least predict its own periodic melt-downs. Today’s global economic crisis is only one of many obvious examples. The fact is that much of our policies are based on little more than the ideology, political philosophy, of the politicians in office at the time. These ideologies have more to do with tradition and belief, than they do with science. America’s most common political ideologies are conservative vs. liberal. Conservatives, primarily identified as Republicans, are viewed as favoring business and legislated morality. Liberals, the Democrats, are seen as favoring individual freedom and the concerns of the common man - "the people." Again, both of these approaches are fairly arbitrary - personal. Neither has proven the undisputed superior, while the failings of each are exposed by the other. These differences in ideology create much of the "gray area" in politics today. ROOPA will standardize this area of government policy into an easy-to-use, simple-to-measure model of operation. No more guesswork - the center of most government conflict and corruption. Today’s "special-interests" extort government favor. Conservatives do so in the name of business. Liberals do so in the name of the people. Trying to reduce the power of these "special- interest-groups" has proven futile. ROOPA abolishes this corruption by simply reducing the government’s authority to play favorites to special-interest. The grip of special-interest is automatically reduced with the government’s power to absolve one for their economic damages to society. ROOPA does this. ROOPA transforms the government’s role from pardon-at-will autocratic ruler, to accountant of the people. This effectively abolishes the worse of government bureaucracy, politics and corruption. ------ This is an information resource and discussion group for people interested in the World's Ancient Vedic Culture, with a focus on its historical, archeological and scientific aspects. Also topics about India, Hinduism, God, and other aspects of World Culture are welcome.
