Guest guest
I cannot really answer your question but Chaudhuri, in the preface to his book on India, explains how it is impossible to date the ancient Hindu texts. It is unlikely that any were written before 1500 BC, and likely that most were written after 800 BC. The British are the best scholars in the English-speaking world on this topic, so a site at Oxford might help. -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: . . <se224141 An: arjunas (AT) eGroups (DOT) com <arjunas (AT) eGroups (DOT) com>; vediculture <vediculture > Datum: Friday, October 22, 1999 1:58 AM Betreff: [world-vedic] When was "the Agastya Samhita" written? > >Could anyone please enlighten me?
