Guest guest
Hello Mahesh, You have exactly put what we should do - Constructive Analysis. That was what I was saing as the original article that I commented on was by no angle so. > We *have to learn* lessons from history. Many Indians to this day are > worshipping a photo of a man who made severe mistakes. > Exactly. Not just blind worshipping but also stop believing he was the root of all evil. > Non-violence and politics go ill-together. Thus he *mislead* the people. > Violence is integral in Indians. I am not taking of violence as in war where our efforts are directed and causal. At first hint we tend to resort to arson and riots. If today I tell 100 people that to listen to our justified voice, we need to burn a bus to wake government, I have used violence for a cause. We did so our independence struggle. Today, how can I re-teach those people that we should now not to resort to violence but use legal and constitutional way to bring change. How do I tell terrorist that don't bomb Delhi's market place or highjack a plane if he retorts that makes his voice heard? How do I justify the loss of blood of gaurdians of peace? If I tell them, we are going through foreign rule.Let us use satyagrah to fight it. Tommorrow in Kashmir, North-east and Punjab instead of falling prey to extremists maybe they will resort to peaceful ways to resolve conflict. Maybe that is why he stuck to non-violence. I really do not know if that was right or wrong, but I analyse this stance as this. > That is always there. > In the European history, without revolution, no order changes. Even the > Russian Revolution was there. French revolution was there. In England, > Cromwell? Cromwell? Cromwell Revolution? > But yes, ramayana, mahabarta and modern revolutions have all culminated into violence before the victory. Strange, fascinating and true.
