Guest guest
I thought you would like this. Its from Ashok Raghu Now for the breaking news. I was taking to a prabhu a few years ago about the pictures of the galaxies in space. I asked him, "what are they?" He said that they were the other universes, the Brahmandas. But I said "what about the coverings over the universes?" He explained that those elements were like multi-dimensional elements of the demigods, and thus they are invisible to our eyes. Just like there are many things in the universe which is invisible to our 3 dimensional eyes. So, these photos of galaxies that we get from the telescope we have in outer space, it is like we are seeing many of the other universes emanating from Maha Visnu. This is really amazing. Now the new physicists are saying that they are completing the mystery that Einstein was still baffled by. They say that they have discovered a new matter that is invisible, called "Dark Matter." They could never understand how the galaxies did not fly out into space, because of the speed of the planets and stars swirling around the center, they calculate that they should spin out of orbit due to centrical force. They say that this "dark matter" surrounds the galaxies and that their mass is 10 times the size of the galaxies!!! In essence, they are saying the same thing as the Srimad Bhagavatam, that there’s a huge covering around the universes, 10 times thicker than the visible universe, which is invisible!! They also say that there are 11 dimensions in our universes, of which many dimensions which we cannot see. Now devotees should not be so confused about the Srimad Bhagavatam’s description of the universe, because now the scientists are beginning to confirm what Srila Prabhupada’s been telling us all along. I think this is amazing news. Ys visok

It is total speculation and it is not supported by shastra. I have been studying these things in detail lately, so I have some familiarity with the subject, although I don't claim to be a complete expert. We cannot see other bramandas or universes from within our own universe. It is completely wrong. If you study the 5th Canto and Richard Thompson's book, Vedic Cosmography and Astronomy you will get a more accurate understanding from the Vaisnava perspective. There are other places in the Srimad Bhagavatam that deal with the universal structure and the unfolding of the material elements as well, such as the 2nd and 3rd Cantos. > This is really amazing. Therefore they cannot be seen or detected by material senses or mechanical devices, since they are "un" manifested, ie: not manifested. The 3rd Canto of Srimad Bhagavatam, chapter 11 describes the atom and its related molecular developments. It says there clearly that the smallest all pervading material particle, the parama-anu (atom), cannot be seen - it is invisible. > Now devotees should not be so confused about the Srimad Bhagavatam¹s > description of the universe, because now the scientists are beginning to > confirm what Srila Prabhupada¹s been telling us all along. Ys visok Although science has made tremendous progress in applied technology, they are literally groping in the dark when it comes to understanding the details of material existence. For the most part, they adamantly refuse to accept God, and within their own structured research communities, they are definitely not allowed to consider God as a factor in all of their investigations. That's not to say that there aren't spiritually minded scientists, but they cannot include God as any kind of involved component in their analyses and conclusions, or they will be rejected by their priesthood. The descriptions in the 5th Canto also deal with manifestations that are on subtler planes beyond the 5 gross elements, ie: mental, intellectual, etc, so they are also not perceivable to our gross senses as simple logic will tell you.
