Mahatma Gandhi: " When doubts haunt me, when disappointments stare

me in

the face, and I see not one ray of hope on the horizon, I turn to

Bhagavad-Gita and find a verse to comfort me; and I immediately began

to

smile in the midst of overwhelming sorrow. Those who meditate on the

Gita

will derive fresh joy and new meanings from it every day."

Bhagavad -Gita is universally renowned as the jewel of India's

spiritual

wisdom. Spoken by Lord Sri Krsna, the supreme personality of

Godhead, to

His intimate devotee Arjuna, the Gita's seven hundred concise verses

provide

a definitive guide to the science of self-realization. Indeed, no

work even

compares in its revelations of man's essential nature, his

environment and,

ultimately, his relationship with God.

For a long time I had a desire to read Bhagvad Gita(BG). But as usual

I was

not having enough time and motivation for starting reading it. So I

found a

noble way. I'm subscribing it on mail now. Daily I'm getting one

sloka which

I can read in few minutes in the morning. It's really amazing. Daily

I feel

enlightened. It's a reservoir of highest and pure knowledge. It can

answer

those questions which no one else can answer. Then I thought I should

share

it with you also.

If you also want to it, just send a mail

to bhagavad_gita- or send a mail to me. you can

also

forward this mail to your friends or send their email id to me, if

you feel

they are interested in receiving Bhagavad-gita text daily.(This

Service is free)

Henry David Thoreau: " In the morning I bathe my intellect in the

stupendous and cosmogonal philosophy of the Bhagavad-Gita in

comparison with

which our modern world and its literature seem puny and trivial."

Ralph Waldo Emerson: " I owed a magnificent day to the Bhagavad-

Gita. It

was the first of book; it was as if an empire spoke to us, nothing

small or

unworthy, but large, serene, consistent, the voice of an old

intelligence

which is another age and climate had pondered and thus disposed of

the same

questions which exercise us."
