somebody says, "Now there is sunrise, light." And if he is in darkness, he

says, "Where is the proof there is light?" So, "You please come out and see."

So you read it and there will be proof.Karandhara: Even if you don't accept

it's five thousand years old, that doesn't diminish the value of the

books.Prabhupada: Simply read it. There is no question of five thousand, ten

thousand, old or new. Just see what is the knowledge there. Lokasyajanato

Aside from this --the toilet invention is insignificant --in comparison to the

Vedic Knowledge which is capable to deliver one to the Spiritual World

(Vaikuntha)---achieving one's own constitutional poistion of loving mellows as

servant of Krishna----in the Goloka dhama (where there is no birth death old

age or disease).

Other points --Lord Krishna's Dwarka fort remanants are still there to see what

sort of culture existed 5000 years ago. India's some very ancient temples

architectural design is some wonderous feat which even in todays modern world

beats imagination. In conclusion : Vedic culture did not see the need to

manufacture toilets: It was more concerned with how to get out of one --like

this material world.

I hope that someone well versed does find the exact quotes for you. It is true.

India and Israel region, along with south america, are the oldest inhabited

countries. Yes, they found even older remains in Canada. America was covered

with a glacier historically. Your friend is correct I'm sure. Anyone have the

exact information?
