Guest guest
(two extensive Murugan web sites) www.Murugan.org www.Kataragama.org Hi again Rob, While awaiting the arrival of the Nibiru-Jewel, I hope that this information will re-infuse your abiding interest in St. Thomas/Damis with enthusiasm, as it has mine. Yours truly, Ronald Landry * I discovered that: 1.) The Hindus of Southern India and Sri Lanka have long regarded St. Thomas/Damis as an avatar of their legendary and prehistoric Aryan-Indus Valley war god, Karttikeya-Skanda-Murugan. 2.) Skanda-Murugan founded an alphabet and language and authored ancient scriptures. (literary proficiency similar to that evidenced in the so-called *Fifth Gospel* of St. Thomas, as well as in the writings of Damis?) 3.) St. Thomas' Christian Apostolic Shield incorporates not only a builders square (Golden Rule?) but a SPEAR (reminiscent of Murugan's almighty *Vel*) commemorating the manner of St. Thomas' martyrdom. 4.) St. Thomas/Damis performed many miracles commemorated by myriad local hymns, the analysis of which remaining fragments found in villages may reveal further St. Thomas-Damis/Skanda-Murugan correspondences? 5.) Millions of Hindus, Brahmins and Moslems currently revere a living presence of Skanda-Murugan and his consort. They fully believe that he befriends the devas and all creation, and that he also assists those who languish on the fringe of society. He is a popular deity on account of his infallible answering of prayers. Skanda-Murugan's followers believe that he and his consort actually frolic and play hide-and-seek among the verdant jungle growth of Sri Lanka. The god's lighthearted pastimes as well as his olden victories are commemorated daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by devotional song and dance by native vellas in natural settings (sounds like fun), and by elaborate and lengthy televised temple-religious ceremonies viewed by millions. 6.) There is a curious resurgence of Skanda-Murugan interest occurring not only in India, but the world over, (as evidenced in the Discovery Channel Murugan documentary). New temples are being dedicated in the USA and elsewhere. Skanda-Murugan centers of worship now exist worldwide. 7.) Skanda-Murugan devotees fervently invoke his presence now, asking him to *come.* 8.) There is an *inner-circle* of holy men who possess sacred knowledge about the *inscrutable* god. * R.Solarion - Apollonius.Net wrote: > Yes, I sensed that immediately. Don't worry.
