The two leaders held discussions in key areas including defence and nuclear technology in a one to one meeting at Hyderabad house, while ministers from both governments signed a range of agreements outside. Russia seeks to widen economic ties Russia is ready to buy more traditional Indian products, cooperate on nuclear power and settle anti-dumping disputes, Russian President Vladimir Putin told the captains of industry in Mumbai on Thursday. India on Wednesday decided to purchase T-90 tanks and Su-30 MKI fighter jets from Russia, officials said. India would purchase 320 T- 90 tanks of worth 450 million dollars from Russia. Of these tanks, 150 would be built in India. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday called for a "tough approach" towards those countries advocating violence and said only a united force against terrorism could defeat it.
