Guest guest
Srila Govinda Maharaj's World Tours Not since Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupad, who is known as the world inaugurator of the Krishna Consciousness movement in the West, has such a prominent spiritual personality as Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Maharaj travelled around the world, illuminating so many people with the teachings of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. His Divine Grace has attracted tens of thousands of people in such diverse countries as India, the United States of America, England, Ireland, Germany, Eastern Europe, Russia, Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa, and Mauritius. Many of us are unable to travel to such a far-away land as India, so the greatest wealth of India has mercifully come to us. In the Vaishnava devotional literature it is said that a truly divine personality carries with him the essence of all the holy places. Certainly, Srila Govinda Maharaj is, in the words of his Guru, Srila Sridhar Maharaj, a "natural paramahamsa," a saintly person from his very childhood, and his humility and affection has captivated people throughout the world. Our greatest fortune is to be able to be with such a saint, because we can attain all success in life with even a moment of his association. World Tour Itinerary Srila Govinda Maharaj has completed sixteen World Tours, visiting devotees at our International Centers in various countries around the world. [Every time His Divine Grace leaves our main Math in Nabadwip, India, to visit a foreign country, it is considered a "World Tour."] NOV 2-9,2000 SRILA GOVINDA MAHARAJ WILL VISIT THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS.
