Guest guest
I have many freinds that work in Tibet, including John Belizzi who explores outside the bound of where the Chinese will allow. No-one has mentioned such a mountain. The tibetans have used alot of magick in the past to defend their territory and creating illusions is one of them. In the 8th century the great Mahasiddha Padmasambhava placed a magick shield around tibet that was fortified by statues of himself along the border. In the early part of this century followers of Pabonkapas cult withing the Gelugpa sect destroyed many of the statues. When the Dalai Lama sensed the danger to Tibet he had his ministers question the Oracle Pehar to find how they could defend themselves. The oracle recommended that they do padmasambhavas mantra, but since this was primarily a Nyingma practice and the Gelug at that time were somewhat against teh Nyingma, they refused and did Tsonkhapa practice instead. Needless to say Tibet Fell.
