Guest guest Posted December 16, 2000 Report Share Posted December 16, 2000 Nitish slams WTO agreement HTC (New Delhi) There are "glaring flaws" in the WTO Agreement on Agriculture which heavily favours the industrialised countries,said Union Agriculture Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday. Addressing a seminar on National Agriculture Policy and Food Security organised by the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, he said India needs to squarely address these issues to establish a fair agricultural trading system to ensure "a level playing field" for all WTO members.
