What is truth and fiction?

It should be pointed out for the benefit of members of public no expert in

sophistry that in January 1990, a debate took placed in the San Diego Temple on

the issue between the fanatics highpriests fundamentalist of rivik cult and

representatives form the GBC. Later that year, ant the GBC meetings in

Mayapura. A resolution was passed invaliding the ritvik believe. Still, this

shadow fallacy is bring promoted, in gross and sutil ways, by some parties of

fanatics. Like the last bitter letters from one of the blindfallowers of this

cult critiquing to our Gurumaharaja Sri Hridayanda Goswami. Therefore, I don't

take care direct to waste my time fighting with mentally deranged so called

Krsna's believers. But only I want to show what Prabhupada said about the

authority of the Guru-parampara succession after Him.

"The spiritual master succession is not difficult. This, respect to my spiritual

master. I'm nothing. I am a peon. Similarly this parampara system is like this.

I request to you ( my disciples) all become spiritual masters" ( Vyasa-puja

1969)

"My Guru Maharaja is tenth from Caitanya Mahaprabhu. I 'm eleven, you (my

disciples) are the twelfth." (May 18, 1972. Arrival lecture in Los Angeles)

"One who is now the disciple is the next spiritual master." (Srimad-Bhagavatam 2.9.43)

"Any one following the order of Lord Caitanya under the guidance of His bonefide

representative can become a spiritual and I wish ,that in my absence, all my

disciples become the bonefine spiritual master to spread Krsna consciousness

throughout the whole world" (November 2, 1967, To Madhusudana das)

I want that all of my spiritual sons and daughter will inherit this title of

Bhaktivedanta, so that the trascendental diploma will continue through the

generations. Those possessing the title of Bhaktivedanta will be allowed to

initiate disciples. May be 1975 all of my disciples will be allowed to initiate

and increase the number of generations. That is my program." (December 3 1968,

to Hamsaduta)

"You can accept disciples without any limitation. that is the law of disciple

succession. I want to see my disciples become bonefide spiritual master and

spread krsna consciousness very widely, thaat will make me and Krsna very

happy." December 2 1975, to Tusta Krsna das)

 

Part 2: The May 28th Conversation 1977.

Satsvarupa: Then our next question concerns initiations in the future,

particularly at that time when you're no longer with us. We want to know how

first and second initiation would be conducted.

Prabhupada: Yes. I shall recommend some of you. After this is settled up, I

shall recommend some of you to act as officiating acaryas.

Tamala Krsna: Is that called rtvik-acarya? Prabhupada: Rtvik, yes.

Satsvarupa: Then what is the relationship of that person who gives the

initiation and the... Prabhupada: He's guru. He's guru.

Satsvarupa: But he does it on your behalf. Prabhupada: Yes. That is formality.

Because in my presence one should not become guru, so on my behalf, on my

order... Amara ajnaya guru hana. Be actually guru, but by my order.

"Tamala Krsna: So if someone gives initiation, like Harikesa Maharaja, he should

send the person's name to us here and I'll enter it in the book. Okay. Is there

someone else in India that you want to do this? Prabhupada: India, I am here."

Satsvarupa: So they may also be considered your disciples. Prabhupada: Yes, they

are disciples. Why consider? Who?

Tamala Krsna: No, he's asking that these rtvik-acaryas, they're officiating,

giving diksa. Their... The people who they give diksa to, whose disciple are

they? Prabhupada: They're his disciple.Tamala Krsna: They're his

disciple.Prabhupada: Who is initiating. He is granddisciple.

Satsvarupa: Yes. Tamala Krsna: That's clear.

Satsvarupa: Then we have a question concer... Prabhupada: When I order, "You

become guru," he becomes regular guru. That's all. He becomes disciple of my

disciple. That's it. "

Conlcusion

What is the meaning of liberate soul????

"A foolis person who manufacture his own ways and means through mental

speculation and does no recognise the authority of the sages who lay down

unimpeachable directions is simply unsuccessful again and again in his

attempts.

 

At the present moment it has become fashionable to disobedy the unimpecheable

direccitons given by the acaryas and liberated souls for the past. Presently

people are so fallen that they cannot distingued between a liberated soul and a

condicioned soul. A conditioned soul is hampered by defects... Consequently we

have to take direction from liberated persons, This Krsna consciousness

movement directly receives instructions from the Supreme Personality of Godhead

via persons who are strictly following His instructions, Although a follower may

no be a liberate person, if he follows the supreme, liberated Personality of

Godhead, his actions are naturally liberated from contaminate of material

nature. Lord Caitanya therefore says: "One can immediately become a spiritual

master". One can immediately become a spiritual master by having full faith in

the transcendental words of Supreme Personality of Godhead and by following His

instructions, Materialistic men are interested in taking directions from

liberate person, but the very much interested in their own concoted ideas,

which make them repeatedly fail in their attempt." (Srimad-Bhagavatam 4.18.5)

 

"Upon hearing intolerable blasphemy to the Lord, several members of the assembly

covered their ears and walked out, angrily cursing the King of Cedi.

Anyone who fails to immediately leave the place where he hears criticism of the

Supreme Lord or his devotee will certainly fall down, bereft of his pious

credit." Srimad-Bhagavatam 10.74.39-40)
