PM releases Guru Granth Sahib in Sindhi-Nagari script-Rajnath Singh

"Guru Granth Sahib includes holy messages of many saints, preachers

and devotees. It carries an ideal example of the inter-faith', said

Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee while releasing the Adi Sri Guru

Granth Sahib in Sindhi-Devnagari script at his residence recently.

Shri Vajpayee applauded Dada Lachhman Chellaram for bringing out this

scripture in Sindhi-Devnagari script. Prime Minister Vajpayee

glorified the importance of Sri Guru Granth Sahib by revealing that

the entire Granth Sahib is being compiled in 31 rag-raginis, and

through the music and prayer to God, one can bring succour to

humankind. He emphasized the need for communication in all religions

and respect to all religions. Sardar Kulmohan Singh, General

Secretary, Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee, praised Dada

Lachhman Chellaram for spreading the messages of Sri Guru Granth

Sahib all over the globe. Among others Smt Sushma Swaraj, Union

Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Bhai Mohan Singh,

Ambassador and various Heads of Sindhi organisations were present at

the function. Dada Lachhman Chellaram informed that the holy Granth

has been published at Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib Printing Press, New

Delhi, with the co-operation of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Prabandhak

Committee.
