Guest guest
Babri `Masjid' frame-up Nataranjan A. Wala The RSS Sarsanghchalak Shri Sudarshan is absolutely right when he stated that the Babri `masjid' was blasted by a bomb. However he has used an incorrect word, namely, bomb when he should have said dynamite. In fact the relic was dynamited from the opposite side where the huge crowd of karsevaks along with BJP leaders Shri L.K. Advani, Umashri Bharati and Dr Murli Manohar Joshi had gathered. One week before the destruction of the edifice Doordarshan showed placards almost every half an hour on which were inscribed words "Kalyan Singh promises to protect the Masjid". A student of propaganda tactics of the Second World War would wonder why the Congress Government was displaying these placards almost non-stop. A foreign news agency broadcast is reported to have stated that the Indian Government's covert agency had started dynamiting the disputed structure from the rear side. When the crowd saw that it was being blown up, it rushed as a herd reaction to the building to take part in the work with improvised hand tools. It is also said that the foreign agency had also stated that some people had taken a video film of the dynamiting operation which the Indian intelligence agencies were frantically trying to get hold of. The name of the foreign broadcast agency is still not known. The connection between the almost non-stop placard display and the GoI's role is obvious. Congress, particularly its Prime Ministerial aspirant, Sharad Pawar who was then Defence Minister had used the Army's Sappers and Miners to blow up the structure and put the blame on the BJP. It was a great frame-up. Those who saw the expression on the face of Shri Advani and other BJP leaders as shown by Doordarshan, known that they were absolutely surprised by the sudden turn of events. Congress motive was clear. They wanted to frame the BJP in the destruction to dismiss the BJP run State Governments and to win the sympathy of the Muslims.
