Guest guest Posted April 23, 2001 Report Share Posted April 23, 2001 Dear Mr. Nair, I have heard of Nugent's harrassment before. he shouldn't be allowed to harrass people in vegetarian restaurants. America is a democracy. When I was little, in the 60s, we were taught in school that one shouldn't criticise other people for their religion, and we studied the constitution, the part where it says about freedom of religion and such. But now, on the radio, for example, you hear disk jockeys trashing muslims and making fun of the Ayatollahs and Saddam and such, and they take the behavior of these people as an excuse to forget their respect. We have to raise objections, or else one day they will come for us.
