Guest guest
List Members- About channelling, consider the following from page 325 of Alien Identities: http://nersp.nerdc.ufl.edu/~ghi/ai_ie4.html " Here is another example [ of channelling ]. In the sixth century AD, a man in Arabia experienced a vision of the Angel Gabriel ' in the likeness of a man, standing in the sky above the horizon.' The man was ordered to become a prophet, and over a number of years he would periodically go into trance and dictate messages that were carefully noted and memorized by his followers. The man was named Mohammed, and the messages he delivered in trance were later compiled to form the Koran. The story of Mohammed is in one sense a typical contactee case. There is the meeting with a nonhuman being, followed by the dictation of elaborate channeled communications. As in the case of Fatima and some recent UFO cases, the being made use of existing cultural traditions, in this instance traditions of angels that were well known to the Arabs. At the same time, Mohammed's teachings have had an enormous impact on world history, and they are clearly on a different level of quality than the teachings transmitted by many UFO contactees. I would suggest that many different communications are continuously being injected into human society using the subtle technology of the mystic siddhis. These revelations vary greatly in quality. They frequently make use of existing human cultural material, and they may also result in far-reaching transformations of human culture." Channelling is like magic- you can have white magic or black magic. And the point made above " communications are continuously being injected into human society using the subtle technology of the mystic siddhis " is worthy of consideration. We have to be careful about what we get into to, about how we are used. Mohammed was anilliterate who was channelled anddictated the Koran. The first event of the muslim revolution is that they violently invaded the Mecca temple in Arabia and smashed all the deities. Then they invaded persia and did the same- they commandeered all the temples andsmashed up all the Indo European deities being worshipped, like Mitra, the sun god. They cut off the heads of people who resisted with those curved swords. They rampaged like this from Southern Spain the Indonesia, or maybe the Phillipines, raping, plundering and committing iconclasm. Should we give in to any channelling that comes along? Has our present environment been influenced by any channelling? Have our own religious and cultural roots been so covered over that we can only dig in the ruins and speculate on our origins? They say that the remains of the smashed deities of the Mecca have remained in the basement vaults of the temple during all these centuries. Conceivably, one could actually go there and find out about the previous culture and religious system that the people were violently shaken away from. And what secrets lie within the Vatican about the ancient Romans or " Ramans." Raman is a Sanskrit declension meaning follower of Rama, or something like that. Unmistakable scenes from the Ramayana, the story of the Rama Avatar, are depicted in Roman pottery: e.g., a monkey setting fire to a city with its tail. Was this previous culture so terrible that the masses had to stage an uprising to stamp it out? Who manipulated it? If the impact of the manipulators could be so significant on society back then, then how about now? And who are they and where are they based? I think that this issue about channeling leads us into the heart and soul of the fantasticrealities list, but we have to be ready for it. We have to be deep, introspective thinkers andfollow through. if not, we will start denying things and this will arrest our progress. Again, channeling itself is simply a mystic process, it can be used for good or for bad. Like the greys who pass through walls as they go about their abduction activities. Is tele-transportation evil? No, celestial beings are reported to have the ability, too. It justdepends onhow you use it.
