Guest guest
GALVA Newsflash Amnesty International has just released its first annual report documenting human rights violations against gays and lesbians worldwide. These include verified physical, sexual and psychiatric abuse of gays in 30 countries. Seventy nations outlaw same-sex relations. Eight mete out the death penalty for homosexual acts: Sudan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, the Chechen Republic, Iran, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen. Jamaica punishes consensual male homosexuality with up to 10 years of hard labor in prison. At least six Afghani men have been publicly crushed to death since 1998 after sodomy convictions by an Islamic Taliban court. These barbaric countries, nations of Kali-yuga, are lagging behind in the world-wide trend that is gradually coming to accept the third gender as a natural human variation that deserves equal respect.
