The question was basically this: Whether or not the Puranas, when they about Shambhala the the " Madhyatah," they are really talking about the hollow Earth. A good amount of the positive answers came from my Hollow Earth list, allplanets-hollow. I think that a good amount of you were half and half or unsure about the idea. It is something that you have to think over. Consider this, though- if the Puranas come right out and talk about the hollow earth in several narrations, and you don´t feel comfortable with it, then what is the value of the rest? By implication you then have to throw out the whole body of literature and write it off as mythology. When the British forst went to India and translated the Puranas, they read about things like Vimanas that could perform wonderful feats, such as " Salva´s Wonderful Airplane," self guided weapons, voice-activated weapons, etc., and they rejected the whole idea of the Puranas having any validity. Now we are actually seeing some of these things. Some maybe there is " more between heaven and Earth than is dreamt of in your philosophy, Horatio." Later! The poll results are below: The Puranas are refering to the hollow Earth when they mention Shambhala and the Madhyatah.the [26 votes total] I agree. (7) 27% Probably (7) 27% I am 50/50 on this. (6) 23% Probably not. (3) 12% I disagree (3) 12%
