Guest guest
Dear Suresh, With the same arguments one could state also that Jesus is just one of the manifestations (or, if you want, the manifestation) of the great Vedic Prajapati. But who cares when everything is Brahman, and both Jesus and Prajapati - and everything else - is just a fluctuation (a wave) of Brahman – the eternal ocean of consciousness. No need to convince us that “my god is better than yours and you better recognize him” (or else we will burn you alive as we did with all the ´heretics´ in the past...) Jesus taught to “find FIRST the Kingdom of Heaven within you, and all else will be added upto you...” But the science of coming WITHIN is all lost. Where in the Bible is the Science of Yoga? Where is the Science of Karma Mimansa? Where Vedanta? Where is the holy science of Vyaakaran and Chandas and all other great disciplines of Vedas? Just lost. It needs the revival of Veda in peoples lives to reenliven and give a real meaning to all religions – esp. Christian church. Veda is a direct cognition of impulses of Natural Law by the Rishis in their own consciousness – and not a mere collection of a few quotations by people who never knew The One they are quoting. Although I fully agree that Bible is a true and beautiful book containing many truths, it is still far from the detailed completeness and fullness of the Veda and Vedic Literature. And by the way, see the historical accounts of the terrible deeds of the “christian” church in the past. Burning alive people who held different opinions and believes, killing and torturing innocent women on pretext they being witches. Killing and exterminating whole races and cultures in the Carribean and South and Central America and India. In Germany supporting Hitler. Martin Luther (the founder of Protestant Church) calling for the killing and torturing of Pope, the Jews, the Heretics, the revolting hungry farmers etc. etc. We can just say: “You will recognize them for the fruits they bear...” The Guru Jesus with his 12 disciples is a wonderful proponent of truth. Let us hope that the church will at last start, after 2000 years, to follow his words: the kingdom of heaven is within you ... search first for it and everything will follow automatically. And maybe try Bhavaatita Dhyaan (Yoga) to realize It.
