thousands of innocent people in New York and Washington DC, on September 11,

2001, is the most heinous crime against the entire humanity. Overseas Friends

of BJP condemns such dastardly acts of cowardice in the strongest terms, and

send out heartfelt sympathies and prayers to the families of the innocent

victims of these terrorist attacks. > >This is the first time that Islamic

terrorism has struck the United States on its soil at such a large scale

causing a tragedy of monumental proportion in a single day. India has been a

victim of the same kind of madness for decades, and has endured deaths of

thousands of its citizens at the hands of terrorists. The Islamic terrorism has

been bleeding India for a long time, targeting innocent people, especially the

Hindus. > >The world has only now realized the magnitude and spread of the

Islamic terrorism. And it is quite obvious that who are the perpetrators and

protectors of the real players of the terrorist activities all over the world.

In the light of recent terrorist attacks in NYC and Washington DC, this is the

duty of all civilized nations today to fight the scourge of terrorism jointly

to save humanity. It is time to get to the root of terrorism. So far, the

United States in its retaliatory measures has confined itself in striking at

the terrorists themselves, and not necessarily taking on the countries that

harbor them. Now the time has come to target countries that provide refuge,

recognition, and funding for terrorists organizations. It is a common knowledge

that Afghanistan and Pakistan are the main sponsors of international terrorism,

and are the breeding ground of future terrorists. Most deadly Islamic terrorist

organizations have found sanctuaries in these two countries. It is tim! >e now

that civilized nations respond in a befitting manner to punish the nations

harboring terrorists. > >What India has been witnessing for over a decade, the

United States has experienced the fury of the Islamic terrorism only now on its

own soil. The target of the Islamic terrorism is not just a country or a

community but the entire civilized society. Today, the entire civilized world

is united to fight against this evil of Islamic terrorism that has become a

threat to the peaceful coexistence of the nations and societies. We take this

opportunity to urge GOI to take advantage of this opportunity provided by the

fierce outrage of the International community against global terrorism and

demand aggressively from Pakistan the followings: >1. to hand over Dawood

Ibrahim, the mastermind of 1993 Bomb Blasts in Mumbai, causing deaths to

hundreds of innocent people, >2. to hand over the four hijackers (who are still

moving around in Pakistan freely) of Indian Airlines plane from Nepal to

Afghanistan in 1999, >3. to close down all training camps of the militants and

ban all Jihadi groups functioning in Pakistan, and >4. to stop providing

material and moral support to terrorists operating in J and K, and other parts

of India. > >If Pakistan does not listen to these demands, now is the most

opportune time for India to apprise immediately US authorities about Pakistan's

devious plans of harboring terrorists and encouraging terrorist activities from

its soil, so that Pakistan be declared a terrorist state. A weak-kneed or

half-hearted attempt by India to draw attention of the world community on the

Pakistani role in terrorism, when the entire world wants it to be rooted out,

will just not do. > >It is widely known that Osama Bin Laden, the mastermind

behind the terrorist attack in USA, is an accomplice in Pakistan sponsored

cross-border terrorism against India, it would be prudent for India to provide

all out help to US in its imminent military strike to punish this 'most wanted

man'. And in the process, India can easily destroy all those training camps in

PoK, where most of the militants operating in J &; K, receive training. This is

a most opportune moment for India to wipe out the terrorism from its roots. At

the same time, a coordinated and firm action must be taken against ISI's local

agents in India. It is the time for India to show to the world that it has will
