"But showing of flags is so hypocritical," says Vineet a student. An

earthquake killed thousands in India. "Did we sport an Indian badge

and raise funds? Whole families disappear in hurricanes and violence,

and all of a sudden we talk of revenge, show of loyalty, united we

stand phraseology and think American citizens are more worthy and

deserve to have lived not those in other parts of the

world. "Vengeance has to be paid with blood. I do love America but

not wearing the flag does not diminish my love for the USA."

 

 

Arun Gandhi, founder-director for the MK Gandhi Institute said it

succinctly in a recent article. "A murderer is not born a murderer, a

terrorist is not born a terrorist. Killing them is not going to get

rid of them. Justice should mean reformation and not revenge. What

will we gain by destroying half the world?'
