Guest guest Posted October 20, 2001 Report Share Posted October 20, 2001 Exile of Kashmiri pandits would end soon: Abdullah Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah has said vanvaas (exile) of Kashmiri Pandits would end soon, and they would be rehabilitated in their ancestral homes in the valley. "The situation will certainly change for good. We don't lack will and are sure to overcome all our difficulties. After the campaign against terrorism in Afghanistan, militancy in Kashmir will also be taken care of," Abdullah said at a function on Friday evening. Referring to the machinations of religious zealots that are out to create wedge between various communities, the chief minister said vote politics has created havoc in society.
