Guest guest
List Members, This book The Artic Home of the Vedas is really taking me by surprise. I want to practically send out an alert and request you all to try to get a hold of a copy. Let me hit you all with the gist of the book. In the Vedic literature, there are several well-known comments to the effect that, in the abode of the gods, one day is equal to six months, and such is the night, too. The author Tilak also presents a Vedic hymn to the effect that there is but one rising and setting of the Sun per six month day, too. So he develops this idea and basically says " Now where on the Earth do we have but one rising of the Sun per six month period?" The answer, of course, is high up in the Arctic circle. So where was the homeland of the gods, of the writer of this passage? The Arctic. This is why the book is called The Arctic Home of the Vedas. We can't oversimplify- there are lots of other considerations to make. But he addresses a good many of them. And armed with the Hollow Earth Theory, I could address a few more. Later on, I will. There is one more point that I will make at this time. He doesn't just stick within the confines of Vedic civilization. He has culled some interesting quotes from an Iranian/Persian work which very strongly indicate that the geographical point of the speaker, as well as the listener ( it was a conversation ), was the high Arctic. We, of course, know of a land mass and even an opening in the deep interior of the Arctic. ( Ring Around the Opening: http://skywebsite.com/hollow/arctic/id6.html ) Mr. Tilak strongly believes that the origin ofall Indo-European migrations was the Arctic. This is what I tried to communicate in The Hollow Earth and the Aryan Invasion Revised: http://skywebsite.com/hollow/Vedic-Hollow-Earth/id2.html Dr. Warren's book Paradise Found is a book of similar import- can anyone dig that one up? Dr. Warren stipulates that the home of European civilization is the Arctic, too. Dharmapada
