Guest guest
HARE KRISHNA ! SRI SRI GURU and GAURANGA Ki JAYA ! Please accept my humble obeisances. The Lord's Holy Name, can render all benedictions to those who call on HIM. Since He is present in HIS NAME / HASHEM (as the Jewish Mystics say) then by invoking His Name, He is already reciprocating our desire for Him, with the Causeless Mercy of His revealed Presense to us. Calling on God by His revealed NAME, is a universal practice among the devotees of the world. Sadly we have been taught that humanity's great theistic Bhakti Traditions are worshiping a variety of separate and adversarial 'supreme' gods. However, the fact is that if we go far enough back into the histories and traditions of these Great Religions, we will discover that there was originally One Supreme GODHEAD worshiped by the major racial and linguistic branches of the human family. KRISHNA-BALADEVA/VISHNA-PARAMATMA was that Original Triune Transcendent-Emanating/Incarnating-Immanent Personality of Godhead. Thus, if we study the Name of God in the various ancient Bhakti Traditions, we constantly come accross Names of Krishna or Vishnu and Their Expansions and Incarnations. Since Catholic Apostolic Christianity evolved out of the Mediterranean Region Proto-Catholic Heliopolitan Asyla Temple Federations, the various Rites of Catholicism, and the languages of those Rites embody the corresponding Proto-Catholic Traditions. Thus The Alexandrian Egyptian Rite has its liturgy and Bible in COPTIC. The Byzantine Rite Liturgy and Bible is in Greek. The Roman Rite Liturgy and Bible is in Latin etc. Later the Liturgy and Scriptures spread into different cultures and languages along the already existing paths of the Proto-Catholic Traditions. In each case, the ancient regional Names of God / Krishna were retained in the Catholic Liturgy and Scriptures. The result of this today, is that one cannot talk about the Catholic GODHEAD in the Asyla Federation related Rites, without using Names which are also Names of Krishna, Vishnu or One of their Expansions or Incarnations. here are a few examples BASILEOS the Sacred King Greek Bible VASUDEVA Krishna-Balarama as Kings NOUTI Lord Coptic Bible NATHA Krishna-Vishnu as Lord GOD The One Who Is Worthy of Sacrifce English from Germanic GOTT HUTA Krishna-Vishnu as PURUSHA the Lord of Sacrifice LORD Ward, Guard English VARD, VART Krishna-Vishnu as Lord Chakra-Vartin is Discus-Warden BHOG 'God' in Slavic Bibles like Russian BHAGAVAN Krishna Who is full in all opulences CREATOR English KRITA, KARTRI Krishna-Vishnu as Creator ELI Hebrew Supreme 'Solar' Deity, Head of the Semitic 'Pantheon' Biblical Name HARI Krishna-Vishnu Origin of all Expansions, Incarnations and devas TOBA-YAHU Good, Bright, Beneficent BEING Hebrew Biblical Name VASU-DEVA (reversed) VASU = BEING, Deva= Good, Bright, Beneficent These are only a few of the hundreds of examples that could be given. I did my BA and MA degree work on these hundreds of connections, and am currently trying to put together a multi volume series on the global history of Krishna-Vishnu-Paramatma centric Trinitarian Monotheism. Anyone know of an interested publisher ? (NOT NEW AGE... must be a legitimate scholarly, or at least serious main-stream respected press !) In the meantime, i will keep posting about related Deity Names and Forms on this thread. The next time a Christian tries to convince you that Krishna-Vishnu is not GOD, just smile benevolently knowing that all the Names they use for God are probably names of Krishna-Vishnu ! When, Krishna willing, my research ever gets published, you will be able to show everyone HUNDREDS OF NAMES OF KRISHNA-VISHNU and RADHA-SHAKTI from the Mediterranean Judeo-Catholic and other Proto (Greek, Roman, Egyptian etc) Catholic Traditions.
