JAYA INDIA) Krishna asks cops to strengthen security DH News Service BANGALORE, Dec 13 Chief Minister S M Krishna today directed the State police to step up security to government buildings including Vidhana Soudha and defence installations in the wake of the terrorist attack on Parliament in New Delhi. Mr Krishna, held a closed door consultation with Home Minister M Mallikarjuna Kharge and later summoned top police officials, including Director General and Inspector General of Police V V Bhaskar and City Police Commissioner H T Sangliana for a meeting. After the meeting, Mr Krishna reacting to the attack on Parliament House, described it as a very serious development. He told reporters that "all of us have to take due note of what happened in New Delhi. It sends out a signal. However menacing it might be, it needs strict vigil." Mr Krishna said he had asked police to tighten security to all government buildings and defence installations in the City and State.
