Guest guest
Namaskar, Since only some Pandits translate the ceremony from Sanskrit into English most of us go through various ceremonies without really knowing the meaning of what is being said. I was fortunate to come across English translations of the following ceremonies by Jnana Prabodhini, Pune. 1. Naming Ceremony. 2. Thread Ceremony. 3. Marriage ceremony - an Uncle of mine who read this translation said 'How I wish I had read this whilst getting married. I might have had a different married life altogether'. 4. Ceremony for entering a new house. 5. Ceremony on Completion of 60 or more years. 6. Funeral ceremony. 7. Enshrining Ganesha. 8. Worship of Shri Satyanarayana. These are all available in the Culture and Philosophy section of www.esamskriti.com.
