Guest guest
Of all the constants we have in modern science (western), I have always thought that Avagadro's constant has got a special 'divinity' about it. The fact that there exists a uniform uniformity underlying an unlimited number of substances in this universe makes it a unique one. I am tempted to believe that there are only 602,300,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 souls in this universe. Transmigration of souls between species (keeping the total constant) according to the accumulated karma in each life is something that is easily explained and understood in such a scenario. I am also tempted to believe that out of the above 330,000,000 (ie. 33 crores) souls are 'divine' ones as mentioned in the puranas. The fact that we have many people (and animals) with divine qualities is due to the presence of a divine soul in their body. I would very much like to know from (Sanskrit) scholars whether 6.023x10^23 is a figure mentioned anywhere in Vedic literature. _______ Get your free @ address at
