Guest guest Posted March 5, 2002 Report Share Posted March 5, 2002 Regarding Dr. Deshmukh, article about Islam/Muslims/J&K and Gujrat: Let me say that the reaction to the Sabarmati Express fire burning 58 Hindus to death and injuring many more , is as expected and no one can do anything about it. The message that journalists and political leaders must convey is that although government is there to protect the lives and property of each and every citizen, they all must behave in a civilized way. No government can protect a minority if it attacks the majority community in the country. That is true not only in India but every where in the world. Also for the long term solution, we must stop funding the Hazz Yatra or Madrassas. Also we must ensure that religious institution or school is used to preach hatred against followers of other religions. The atrocities commited by Islamic invaders should be looked upon as those by invaders and not by Indian Muslims. Every learning institutions should teach students the truth that we are all children of the same forefathers and same blood is running in our veins.
