Guest guest
Analysis of mentioning of poisoning by Srila Prabhupada in Vrindavan 1977: For immediate circulation Take an example, a parent has kids. With one of the kids, the parent is having to deal with a very misbehaved and disrespectful kid. The other kid serves/respects. Should the good kid let the bad kid misbehave with the parent? Obviously the parent loves both kids and if the bad kid is misbehaving with the parent, the loving relationship parent will probably just accept it because of the love. If the good kid tries to intervene to correct the bad kid the parent may not allow this to happen as the short-tempered bad kid may fight with the good kid. Srila Prabhupada may be just did not therefor ask for direct intervention when poisoning was mentioned because there might have been serious and immediate fighting repurcussions but mentioned poison in a 'by the way' method. This may have been so that there would not be immediate fighting repurcussions but the message would be recorded without suspicion for posterity for all to hear and also for forthcoming help to arrive to him without disturbance or knowledge of the perpetrators.
