Details on the Ethnic Cleansing of Kashmiri Pandits

Since 1947 till now there have been many muslims coming and going

in Kashmir.Sheikh Abdulla's reign of terror has been a famous one.He

started some

things that have brought about annihilation of Hindus and take over

by Pakistan.Some of

the things he did are as follows:-

 

1. Hindu land owners were not given any repatriation for their land-

that was "given by

state to the muslims that used to work on the land".This was called

Big Land Abolition

Act..More than 182 canals of land per owner was the rule after

that.Most of the land was

owned by Hindus.

2. The debt that muslims had (from Hindus) `Debt Cancellation

Board `canceled it

without giving any compensation to Hindus.This was a grievous

mistake.

3. "Protection " in government jobs came into effect.Only 5% was

kept for Hindus.This

proved a tremendous blow to Hindus;for the 5% too they were not

hired.This why they

had to leave Kashmir in the 50's decade.

After Sheikh Abdulla was arrested Baxi Gulam Mohamed came to

power and

arranged a"janmat morcha" which was in Pakistan's favour and it

brought the

"self-determination" as a rules ! So in this period Islamaisation of

Kashmir

started.Jamat-e- Islamia opened 100's of schools(madrasas) In these

madrasas,the book

read: "kaf se kafir and there was a picture of tilak Dhari Hindu!

Children were taught that

to kill a Hindu is janat worthy "punay-kary" svab. When children

were asked "who is the

prime minister of our country? The answer was"Julfikar Ali

Bhutto,Benazir Bhutto.

This way the children were taught every thing against Hindus and the

work was

completed.Then,children were sent to Pak for higher education.when

they came

back,they were recruited in police,administration,education so they

could carry on the

work of turning the public against the Hindus..

4. Kashmiris Hindus who were educated and influential could not

support the Pakistani

agenda.So they left.

5. The "dharam nirpeksh" idea was rejected ! Gautam Nag incident is

the example of

that.Mandirs & dharmshalas war destroyd on 12 & 13 Feb,1986. Army

action in Anant

Nag district was responsible for 56 mandirs being demolished.

6. Approximately 250 villages were renamed:

Anant Nag had 200 Hindu families liveing there; 10 Sheikhs were

living there.Uma

Ngri where these people were living changed to Sheikh Pura. many

changed to Sheikh

Pura,Mohamed Pura,Islam Pura etc etc.

7. In Kashmir Bharat sarkar was becoming weak and decrepit and

Hidnus were leaving

for other parts of India.this was the great Islamization of Kashmir.

8. Jammu Mandal's Hindu people were becoming "alag-thalg" and were

"gherao".Ghati's Hindu were being annihilated.

9.Almost all of land was registered in "aukaf's" (Waqaf) name!

Shilgam,Pahalgam,the

land that was Mandi's in these places,was given to Waqaf,without

compensation and

without permission.

10. 100canal land that belonged to government was given to a muslim

Madrasa.In Anant

Nag,Braq Pura Gardens land is called Memorial Trust,is one example

of such transition.

So,political parties became superfluous and the change was complete.

India has to recognize this and if India wants to call Kashmir its

own,it has to do

something about it.
