Guest guest
Greetings Hassan ibn Ali Al-Sattar, novus_1 In short response to yr article, in which you attempt to dismember Aditi Chaturvedi's "Vedic Past of Pre-Islamic Arabia", I wanted to point out that the idea of Arabian/Hebrew/African languages not being connected is incorrect. This theory was formulated by European Aryanists who despised the Semitic cultures. In an attempt to prove complete superiority over these cultures, the academic community formulated many fantastic theories. One was the illogical theory that the Semitic-African languages and Indo-Euro Languagess had no connection. One of the world's greatest linguist of the 1800s, the deciferer of ancient Crete language, concluded that the Semitic-African-Egyptian languages are in the same family as Sanskrit and thus the European languages. The reaction was immediate and swift. His career was destroyed and he went from glory to dying penniless. The radical European Aryanists destroyed him, professionally. However all his theories have now been accepted by mainstream academia, not thru force, but because the facts prove that Arabic comes from Sanskrit. Remember the misnamed Arabic numerals? Everyone knows they are really pure Sanskrit. So its obvious that the languages are related. Before Mohammed's time, Arabia was part of the glorious Vedic civilization. The question is how long before Mohammed's time? About 3,000 yrs before Mohammed's time, Vedic civilization began declining. There was a full 2,000 yrs of barbarism and degraded remnants of Vedic culture by the time Mohammed appeared. It was the very fact that society was so degraded that Mohammed was sent by God. This was in order to bring them back to a God conscious civilization. That is the essence of real Vedic civilization.
