Mandala Wins Benjamin Franklin Award

NOVATO, CA, May 20 (VNN) — Mandala's In A World Of Gods And

Goddesses Wins Benjamin Franklin Award!

 

Mandala Publishing is proud to announce that "In a World of Gods and

Goddesses: The Mystic Art of Indra Sharma" has won the prestigious

Benjamin Franklin Award for best Spiritual/Metaphysical book

published in 2001. In a near sweep of the category nominations,

Mandala's "Ramayana: A Tale of Gods and Demons" (B. G.

Sharma/Ranchor Prime) was also singled out as a finalist for the

honor! The award ceremony took place on May 1st at the Grand Hyatt

Hotel in New York City on the eve of this year's Book Expo America.

sensitive painters, was born in 1923 in the small town of Nathdwara,

in Rajasthan, India. He learned the art of painting from his family

outside of the Indian subcontinent.
