3. Indo-Chinese War of 1962 - As a nation so obsessed are with Pakistan

that we have ignored the Chinese threat. During the 1950's it was Pakistan hai

hai and Hind Chin bhai bhai. What resulted was the humiliation of 1962. Besides

telling you all about the War it gives yu the sequence of events that led to it.

The last chapter has some thoughts on, how do we handle the Chinese? Friends

China is long-term, a far greater threat than Pakistan. With its new found

6. Travel to the Valley of Flowers in Garwhal Himalayas, Uttaranchal -

Take a detour one hour before Badrinath, trek some 17 kms to reach there.

Surrounded by snow clad mountains the Valley is over 15 kms long. I walked

through it for over three hours. See 19 breathtaking pictures. Best time to

visit fourth week of July to end August.
