Guest guest
Vedaprakash Upadhyay, a Hindu professor, in his book claims that the description of the Kalki Avatar found in the holy books of the Hindu religion, matches the Holy Prophet Mohammed . Whatever the Hindu professors mental speculation --this is not acceptable in the teachings of Srimad Bhagavatam. Srimad Bhagavatam has been translated into English Language by His Divine Grace A C BHAKTIVEDANTA SWAMI PRABHUPADA. Please read A C BHAKTIVEDANTA SWAMI PRABHUPADA's authentic translation of the Srimad Bhagavatam. This word to word translation disproves Vedaprakash Upadhyay's false theories. It is to be noted however that Prophet Mohammed is however a *saktyavesa* avatara. But a saktyavesa avatara means that the Lord EMPOWERS his devotee for a particular function. Respect is given to the Prophet Mohammed on this level of saktyavesa avatara. It is the false conclusion of the Hindu professor Vedaprakash that Kalki avatar refers to Prophet Mohammed: that is rejected by A C BHAKTIVEDANTA SWAMI PRABHUPADA's authentic translation of the Srimad Bhagavatam. 740604rc.gen ConversationsPrabhupada: Buddha is saktyavesa-avatara. We accept Lord Jesus Christ also, saktyavesa-avatara; Mohammed, saktyavesa-avatara. Saktyavesa-avatara means a living entity especially empowered and he preaches the philosophy on behalf... That is called saktyavesa-avatara. There are different types of avataras. Gunavatara, manvantaravatara, yugavatara, lilavatara, saktyavesavatara, like that. They are described in the Caitanya-caritamrta. KALKI AVATAR SB 1.3.25 T Krsna Is the Source of All Incarnations athasau yuga-sandhyayam dasyu-prayesu rajasu janita VISNU-YASASO namna kalkir jagat-patih SYNONYMS atha--thereafter; asau--the same Lord; yuga-sandhyayam--at the conjunction of the yugas; dasyu--plunderers; prayesu--almost all; rajasu--the governing personalities; janita--will take His birth; VISNU--NAMED VISNU; YASASAH--SURNAMED YASA; namna--in the name of; kalkih--the incarnation of the Lord; jagat-patih--the Lord of the creation. TRANSLATION Thereafter, at the conjunction of two yugas, the Lord of the creation will take His birth as the Kalki incarnation and become the SON OF VISNU YASA. At this time the rulers of the earth will have degenerated into plunderers. PURPORT Here is another foretelling of the advent of Lord Kalki, the incarnation of Godhead. He is to appear at the conjunction of the two yugas, namely at the end of Kali-yuga and the beginning of Satya-yuga. The cycle of the four yugas, namely Satya, Treta, Dvapara and Kali, rotates like the calendar months. THE PRESENT KALI-YUGA LASTS 432,000 YEARS, OUT OF WHICH WE HAVE PASSED ONLY 5,000 YEARS AFTER THE BATTLE OF KURUKSETRA AND THE END OF THE REGIME OF KING PARIKSIT. SO THERE ARE 427,000 YEARS BALANCE YET TO BE FINISHED. THEREFORE AT THE END OF THIS PERIOD, THE INCARNATION OF KALKI WILL TAKE PLACE, AS FORETOLD IN THE SRIMAD-BHAGAVATAM. THE NAME OF HIS FATHER, VISNU YASA, A LEARNED BRAHMANA, AND THE VILLAGE SAMBHALA ARE ALSO MENTIONED. As above mentioned, all these foretellings will prove to be factual in chronological order. That is the authority of Srimad-Bhagavatam. 720930SB.LA Lectures So we accept incarnation of God when all the descriptions are corroborated in terms of the authorized sastra. Otherwise we reject. That is our business. So in this verse... Why we accept Vedic scripture as solid truth? Because there is no mistake. Otherwise, how it is predicting that yuga-sandhyayam, "In the last conjunction of the yugas, there will appear the Lord"? Kalkir namna, namna kalkih. "His name will be Kalki. But He is not ordinary person." Namna kalkir jagat-patih. "He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. He is not ordinary man. And His father's name is..." JANITA VISNU-YASASAH. "HIS FATHER'S NAME WILL BE VISNU YASA." THE YASA TITLE ARE THERE IN INDIA STILL. ONE MR. YASI (JOSHI) CORRESPONDS WITH US. SO THE JOSHA, OR JOSHI, THIS TITLE IS ALREADY THERE. SO THEY ARE BRAHMANAS. HERE, ALL THE DESCRIPTIONS ARE NOT THERE, BUT IN OTHER PLACE, ALL THE DESCRIPTIONS ARE THERE. NOT ONLY HIS FATHER'S NAME, NAME, HIS VILLAGE OR THE PLACE, SAMBHAL. THERE IS STILL A PLACE SAMBHALPUR IN INDIA. So everything is there. We should not be misled that "Here is another avatara, here is another avatara, here is... So many avataras." No. So this is called sastra: what will happen after 400,000's of years, that is mentioned. FUTURE. JUST LIKE LORD BUDDHA'S NAME WAS THERE. BHAVISYATI YUGA-SANDHYAYAM. BHAVISYATI. BHAVISYATI MEANS "HE WILL COME." HE WAS NOT VISIBLE. THIS IS SASTRA. SASTRA MEANS TRI-KALA-JNA. The writer of sastra should be a full cognizant of past, present, and future. That is called unmistakable. Past, present, and future. Krsna says in the Bhagavad-gita that "I know past, present, and future." 721002SB.LA Lectures So Vedic knowledge should be accepted as it is. Don't try to comment. If you go on commenting with your teeny brain, then you will never be able to achieve the success. That is the process. Vedavan. I have given you several times this example, that in the Vedas it is said that cow dung is pure, although it is the stool of an animal. We accept: "Yes, it is pure." And actually you find, yes, it is pure. If you analyze, you'll find all antiseptic properties. Now how in stool? Stool is septic. Septic tank, where has stool. But this stool is anti... It is practical. You can see. But wherefrom we get this information? From the Vedas. THE KNOWLEDGE RECEIVED FROM THE VEDAS, THERE IS NO MISTAKE. THERE IS NO ILLUSION. IT IS PERFECT. JUST LIKE HERE, WE HAVE READ THE PASSAGE THAT FOUR LAKHS OF YEARS, 400,000'S OF YEARS AFTER FROM THIS TIME, THERE WILL BE INCARNATION OF KALKI. HIS FATHER'S NAME SHOULD BE VISNU YASA. THE PLACE WHERE HE WILL APPEAR, IT IS SAMBHAL. EVERYTHING IS STATED THERE. NOW 400,000'S OF YEARS IT WILL... LORD BUDDHA APPEARED 2,500 YEARS AFTER THE BHAGAVAT WAS WRITTEN. THAT'S CAME A FACT.
