US Falwell offends Mohammed, Indians Riot

qoute Mumbai's Times of India of OCT 10 "Several Muslim organizations led by the

Raza Academy have called on all Muslim establishments to shut shop on Friday in

protest against the recent remarks reportedly made by Baptist Minister Jerry

Falwel in a television interview on the CNBC channel.

 

The gen sec of the academy, M Saeed Noori, said that the minister had called the

Prophet a terrorist, setting off a wave of protests among Muslims across the

world. Meanwhile the All India Christians Council has condemned Rev Falwell's

statement. it does not reflect the true nature of Christ". these are excerpts.

 

Think

1. Response to bandh near total in Muslim dominated areas like Masjid Bander, Bhiwandi.

 

2. If Gandhi was the father of Pan Islamism in the 1920's  whereby he used the

Khilafat Movement to unite Indian Muslims  over the abolishment of the

Caliphate in Turkey, Osama Bin Laden has successfully reignited the Pan-Islamic

sentiment globally after 2001. To read about the Khilafat movement &; Moplah

3. Some of yu might not agree but Gandhi used the Khilafat Movement to try &;

assume leadership amongst the Indian Muslims. That he failed miserably is

proved by the Moplah Rebellion (butcher of Hindus) and Partition. So also Shri

George Bush has used 9/11/ to assume global leadership by starting the War

Againt Terror. To my mind he is repeating the mistake made by Gandhi. India

paid heavily for Gandhi's mistake. Lets see what are the results of Bush's

actions this time. Whats common so far is that India read Hindus lost out both

times, in the 1920s and 2001-02.
