>Dear Members of the Vedic Friends Association,

> Namaste and Hare Krishna. There's a few things I wanted to mention

in this letter. First, if you have not received any of the few emails

we have sent out from the VFA-family newsgroup, that is because there

has been a few of you whose email addresses were not able to be

entered into the group. This is because there may have been blocks

that you had placed with , or you did not respond to the

invitation that was sent to you regarding the VFA-family

newsgroup. So you have to do it yourself, or acknowledge that you

want to be a part of this group. You can do this yourself by going

to: VFA-family. Then enter your address

to join.

> The thing is that if you are not a memebr of the group, neither

will you receive the announcements from the VFA nor will you be able

to participate in any discussions for future projects, issues, or

ideas with which the VFA will become involved. So check this out.

However, I will keep a copy of the list to which I will be sending

announcements, such as this one, which is separate from the

listing.

> Another item is that several of us will be going to India for an

important meeting for the VFA in Hyderabad. There will be discussions

on our future projects, what we have accomplished so far, and what we

expect to do during the next year. This will be to help start

increasing our activity over the next year.

> From there a few of us will go on to Assam where we will

participate in another meeting, and also go on to take a tour into

the tribal regions to continue giving lectures or presentations of

the significance and importance of the Vedic culture. From there I

will also be going on to Ahmedabad to participate in a small Hindu

Heritage camp to give classes over a period of five days. After that

I'll be doing some personal travel to the holy places in West India

that I have not seen before.

> So things and developments with the VFA will be quite active in

India during this time, but this newsgroup may be quiet until we get

back from India.

> Once I get back to the States, I will write to eveyone to let you

know what new developmets have taken place, what was accomplished in

the meetings, and some of the immediate projects we will begin. So

until then, I hope everyone stays well, have happy holidays, whatever

holidays you observe, and we will talk again then.

> Hari Om and Hari bol,

> Stephen Knapp (Sri Nandanandana dasa) President of the VFA
