How Congress dug its own grave in Gujarat

Before the Godhra incident happen, the people of Gujarat were 50-50 on

BJP-Congress, because people were equally satisfied/dissatisfied with

BJP government. Congress had a better chance of winning more seats

that before. After Godhra and Post Godhra retaliation Attacks, the

Congress along with anti-Hindu left and castiest SP, RJD started a

totally one sided attack blaming entire Hindu community. Please note

this is first major election where Sonia's foriegn origin was not an

issue and people also don't had much objection. Still Congress lost a

golden chance due to its partisan approach.

 

Media also targetted Modi and BJP only for attack on minorities

especially at the time Pakistani Islamic Terrorists attacked Hindu

temples and killed thousands of Indians in Kashmir. Added to that

Sonia and Musharraf started speaking in same tone on Gujarat on

international fora. Musharraf is a crooked military ruler of Pakistan

who don't have a diplomatic decency, so one can understand his

meaningless involvement in internal affairs of India. But what Sonia

did was much more harmful than that. She, the opposition leader of

Indian Republic, disgraced India, Gujarat and people of Gujarat at

Islamic Study Center at Oxford, London organised by Al-qaeda

supporters. People of Gujarat felt She NOT only dragged Indian

internal matter out to world, but ruined the Gaurav of Gujarat.

Needless to say the venue was ill-placed. People of Gujarat are very

outraged on this.

 

When the election come to final days, Congress employed Slander Hindu

biters like Laloo and left parties. This further diminished Congress

support among soft or simple Hindus. Then Congress tried Ram vilas

Paswan who is undoubtedly a popular Dalit leader. But people didn't

trust him, because he left the BJP association only when he was denied

the prominent ministry in NDA government. Till that time he has no

objections with the "Communal BJP". The congress leadered by Shakar

Singh Vaghela then tried Caste Card to beat Hindutva. One more wrong

and failed trick. People of Gujarat were never divided on the basis of

caste and they know the disastrous effects of Caste politics which are

in full effect in Bihar and semi effect in other northern states.

While Bihar has become full Jungle Raj, the other northern states also

following it(except Himachal, Delhi, Rajastan). And finally, the final

big blunder of Congress to get fatwa in favor of it by Muslim

religious leaders to vote for Congress. This tempted Hindus to vote

exactly opposite to that and thus Modi's victory with much less help

by VHP. Congess dug its own grave in Gujarat. And it will happen

whereever Congress folows such kind of strategy. At the time when

every state of India is vulnerable to Pakistani Islamic terrorists,

biting Hindus without proper justification will yield disastuous

results for any party. If the Congress followed neutral and

non-partisan approach after Godhra, the results might have been

different. Modi and BJP are indebted to Congress, Musharraf and

leftist "secular" media.
